Westrex Corporation is pleased to offer the release of the much anticipated Western Electric 300B electron tube. Originally designed by Bell Laboratories for theatre applications, the Western Electric 300B is regarded as possibly the finest electron tube ever manufactured for high fidelity audio amplification. Audiophiles praise the 300B for its low noise, sonic purity, and long life when utilized in single-ended triode amplifiers and other amplifier designs. Due to its exceptional performance, the 300B has remained the tube of choice among amplifier designers.

Renewed demand for the classic tube led Western Electric engineers to painstakingly and faithfully recreate the original 300B. In every detail, the new 300B is identical to the original version manufactured between 1937 and 1988. These tubes are produced in the new Western Electric facility in Huntsville, Alabama - USA using the original tooling, materials, engineering, specifications, manufacturing techniques and personnel.

The domestic retail price for the 300B is $400.00 per tube and $900.00 for matched pairs. Each tube is serialized and packaged within the vintage World War II carton along with a printed documentation of its particular characteristics and curves. Matched pair cartons come in a wooden cherry box with the Western Electric company logo and "No. 300B One Matched Pair" engraved on the lid.

This electron tube was built to the highest standards of Western Electric products and carries a limited warranty against manufacturing defects for a period of 90 days from date of purchase to the end user. An extended warranty to five years is available when the enclosed warranty card is completed by the end user and mailed within 10 days of the purchase to the provided address on the card.
